NuCelle Mandelic Antioxidant Night Lotion

I’ve been trying to find a good nighttime lotion since I started using Differin (for my acne-prone T-zone) recently and my skin is extra sensitive now. A friend of mine introduced me to NuCelle Mandelic Antioxidant Night Lotion $24 (20% off with coupon code MAKEOVER20 at SkincareRx.com) and I’m hooked. This lotion is ideal for all skin types, without exception. It’s particularly good for those with mature, sensitive, and hyperpigmented skin (longtime readers must’ve heard me gripe about my “preganency freckles” since I had my baby). It is super-hydrant but not greasy, it’s especially good for blemish-prone skin that still needs moisture and a boatload of antioxidants. The Mandelic Acid is an AHA designed to gently exfoliate and clean the pores of impurities. And it has algae extract which is antibacterial and non-comedogenic. NuCelle is definitely on my radar for more skincare products.

At the first glance I thought these jewelry from Samantha House looked kind of cumbersome. But giving it a few more looks, they quite appeal to me with their distinct personality. Using wires and distressed, painted glass beads and quartz beads, they are strong and wild and a bit rough around the edges and yet glamorous.

Layers without layering

Another super busy day that calls for easy dressing. I’m wearing this black and white striped dress that I bought on Yesstyle a while ago. Can’t seem to find it on the site anymore (they do update frequently). I love that the dress looks like a striped top and a skirt combo.   The big open sleeves on the top are comfortable and freeing.  And it is nicely layered so I don’t have to wear another tank underneath.  And the skirt part also has a pretty lace overlay.  Keeping the accessories simple with a pearl necklace and bracelet.  And yes I’m carrying a Hello Kitty tote .  It’s just a great diaper bag.

I’ve been seeing lots of drawstring bags coming out for this fall. What do you feel about them? I remember way back when they were trendy and I always thought they looked sloppy. But then again that was when those bags were not well-made with leather and it was too boho. I think this time around, the bags still have a nonchalant feel but are much cooler and much more sophisticated at the same time. The details are much defined with nice hardware and textured leather. Just don’t try to stuff it too full or you’ll have trouble finding anything .
