Runway shoes don’t always translate well…

I think Steve Madden took the runway versions of these footwear a little too literally. It’s better to tone it down a bit and make it more everyday-life friendly. These are much easier to wear, but still funky. And people won’t think you are crazy. I was quite envious when I saw my friend wearing these cheery stacked espadrilles.

…then perhaps I can have something similar. I’ve been lusting after this Marc by Marc Jacobs Alessandra Shantung Dress ($428) forever. It’s adorable beyond words. I’m a sucker for big bows. But look what I found at Yesstyle, this look-alike for only $55 . I just have no idea how to tie the pretty bow like in the picture. Mine looks all screwed up. I really need a lesson on tying a proper bow!

Speaking of cotton totes, I just couldn’t resist when I saw this, Cotton Twill Tote Bag – “I Love Cats More Than Anyone Else Does” ($38) from a Japanese brand called Scopy. Fellow cat lovers, raise your hand, lol.

Origins White Tea moisturizer

I’m pretty much a tea fanatic, so when it comes to moisturizers if there’s tea extract in it, I’ll try it. The benefits of green tea have been in used for a long time. And now we have white tea, the younger sister in the tea family, also with super anti-oxidant powers. My latest favorite is Origins A Perfect WorldAntioxidant moisturizer with White Tea ($35). It makes my skin super soft and supple. Leftover Bags Totes

Seems like everybody has their own favorite eco-friendly totes. And now pretty much every store offers its own reusable shoppers. I’ve collected about a dozen. My Mango tote is the most durable one I’ve used so far because of its tight thick canvas. It’s not the cutest but it’s really reliable, great to bring to the grocery store. Well, I don’t know when was the last time I got excited about shopping for basics. I needed some tank tops for layering under my dresses so I went to Gap. And lo and behold they have stocked some really cute essentials. Check out this adorable cardigan.
