Jewelry is getting bigger and bigger

After seeing the ginormous jewelry in the runway shows (Rebecca Taylor and Nanette Lepore had some gorgeous ones) during NY Fashion Week, I kept craving for some. I saw these on Bebe and just couldn’t resist getting a piece for myself. I just love the sheer size of these. They might seem “evening”, but I think they will be quite the cool contrast worn with slouchy cardigans and sweater dresses.

Heart Charm Necklace $54. I got this one. I probably shouldn’t have, but I couldn’t talk myself out of it.

Oh speaking of big accessories, I got the Emeral Green Owl Ring that I ordered from Miss Misa today. Yay! I totally love it. The details are even more exquisite than I imagined. Pleasantly bigger, too :D .

So huge necklaces in my book are a good thing. But I’m not so sure if that’s the case for earrings. Glamour Magazine’s Fashion Blog says the bigger the better. What do you think? They look kinda ridiculous to me on Hilary Duff. Her earrings are literally as big as her face.
