I might be a late comer to this website, but nonetheless I’m super excited about finding it, especially for us Canadian girls . This Canada-based store, ssense.com, is like the equivalent of Revolve Clothing. It has all the popular labels. The prices are shown in Canadian dollar, that saves me the trouble of converting currencies (btw, that means you’ll get an even better deal with USD). More importantly it offers free shipping which is always bonus for us Canadian shopaholics who usually have to pay an exorbitant amount for shipping and duties. I’m watching these items, I’m hoping there will be deeper discounts on Boxing Day (December 26th). I heard they’ve opened a physical store in Toronto recently. Winter’s not so bad

I’ve been living in these Farylrobin boots since the weekend. I can walk in them forever and they go with everything. Today I decided to pare down my bag and use my vintage John Hort clutch to work instead. I was surprised that the clutch was all I needed. It’s pretty roomy inside with two separate compartments that can expand. Just goes to show me that I carry too much non-essential stuff in my bag. Anyway, I’m wearing a few of my favorite things today, the boots, the clutch, cashmere navy cardi, the white swing wool coat, which all make me happy on a cold cold winter day.

Princess dresses

Is everybody swamped in holiday parties and get-togethers? From the 24th to January 1st, we pretty much have everyday planned out. Both our companies let us take those days off too, I’m really looking forward to some good holiday festivities. With all the gorgeous holiday dresses I’m lusting after, I’ve got a new love for the super bright, dramatic, lots of volume, full of embellishments 80s-inspired princess-y dresses. They really remind me of those 80s’ teen movies (which I might be re-watching over the holidays, gotta have a movie-binging night) and all the wacky poufy dresses girls wore to their prom.
