Old chiffon dress + new coat

Shopping my own closet again today. I haven’t worn the purple chiffon dress that I got from F21 for like $10 or something when we visited the States more than a year ago I almost forgot I had it. Naturally it would be too flimsy for winter so I layered a cashmere top underneath and a tuxedo blazer (a xmas gift from my guy) over it.
I did splurge on something new the other day — this extremely adorable cashmere coat from a local boutique that carries cute clothes from Europe and Asia.  I wish my crappy camera could convey the details better, the antique-y jewel brooch on the pleated collar, the folds on the waist line, and the bow-adorned pockets, all very cute but subtle.

Happy Friday everyone! The first week back at work after the holidays has been long and tough. The weekend could not have come sooner!! :D
