So NY Fashion Week for Fall 2009 is well underway. As I’m looking through the photos, I realize that I lust after the accessories more than the clothes. They are simply extraordinarily creative and innovative.

Booties and pumps with jagged spiky heels, fierce metal cuffs and earrings, ripped tights, all the stuff for the cool urban girl.

Hervé Léger
These strappy platform sandals and boots and bags in exotic skins are to DIE for! Apparently the shoes were incredibly difficult to walk in as two models took tumbles on the runway. Ouch!

DKNY
The clothes were incredibly beautiful and lady-like with the ’40s sensibility. I especially want every one of the handbags and gloves, worn together of course!
