Hate sun spots!
I was very very diligent about slathering on sunscreen on our vacation in Mexico, so I didn’t get burned at all and didn’t even get much of a tan, but after we got back, I noticed I had a bunch of sun spots on my face! These are not cute little freckles! Arrrgh! My face is very susceptible to discoloration, I think a lot of Asian women are like that. Raise your hand if you always have some kind of lightening/brightening product in your bathroom. I dug out my half-used bottle of Paula’s Choice Remarkable Skin Lightening Lotion ($18.95), and just ordered another one, to fully attack this problem. The main ingredient is the 2% Hydroquinone, along with a glycolic acid to effectively lighten sun- or hormone-induced brown skin discolorations (including freckles, age spots, and melasma). Hydroquinone is the only proven ingredient that can dissolve the spots. It’s worked for me before. I just have to be patient because it does take some time. And I think the timing is very important. The sooner you do it the better, otherwise they don’t go away completely. Very easy to put the spots on, but so hard to get rid of them
