How does it work? Using a scientific process called “Iontophoresis,” the WrinkleFree Eyes 20-Minute Eye Lift System patented micro-charged eye patch activates on contact with the skin to gently push Retinol 4x™ activating serum deep into the skin to dramatically reduce the appearance of wrinkles in only 20 minutes.
There are two sets of eye patches in the box and I tried one set on the weekend. It felt a little stingy when I put them on, which is to be expected with anything that has a significant amount of Retinol. After twenty minutes my eye area did look pretty tight and smooth (although I’m still wrinkle-free now, so that doesn’t really say much). The patches were stuck on really tight, I had to use a bit of force to peel them off which tugged at my skin. I didn’t like that part. And I wish they made the patches for both the eyelids and under the eye area. When I was waiting around for 20 minutes, I had to apply some eye cream on my eyelids because they got really dry. After I peeled them off, I applied the Retinol 4x Intensive Serum around my eyes. It was absorbed quickly and felt very hydrating. It’s said to be “4 times stronger, yet significantly less irritating than leading retinol treatments. Time-released for buffered action, this all night retinol infusion reduces the look of wrinkles, adds resilience and hydrates with firming moisture.” The next morning my eyes looked very relaxed and less puffy, which really surprised me. Then I applied the 24 Hour Face Lift Wrinkle Filler for the day. It felt like a lighter version of the nighttime cream. My biggest problems around my eyes now are not wrinkles, but puffiness and dark circles. Using this system for two weeks, I really hope these problems are minimized. And of course wrinkles are prevented. Should always work on wrinkle prevention, right?
