Cute things – aprons by Jessie Steele
I’m not the cook in my home that’s for sure. My guy’s much better at cooking and enjoys it much more. I hate putting on aprons when I do cook. When oil starts sizzle and jump from the stir fry, I run away, lol. I found these delightful aprons by Jessie Steele. I can totally picture myself cooking in these. Clair Steele & Helena Steele are the mother/daughter design team behind the Jessie Steele label. Jessie Steele aprons have been featured on popular programs such as Desperate Housewives, The O.C. and Oprah as well as publications such a Vogue, Elle and Better Homes and Gardens. They just look like so much fun!

The front tie and the waistband in the back give more definition. Love the overall sporty feel to it which always implies comfort. It’s the perfect run-around outfit on the weekend.
The cocoa version looks just as fab.

Cecilia Gonzales charm necklaces
As I was looking through Sacred Accessories (awesome site for artistically different accessories, great for gifts), These beautiful charm necklaces by Cecilia Gonzales caught my eye. All the charms, some girly and some masculine, work so well together as if each tells a story. Cecilia Gonzales jewelry is handmade in Miami and crafted with quality and care. She creates through an arduous process of oxidation and patination of the metals, chains and findings. She then layers them into beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Her style is delicate and feminine, yet rustic looking with layers of oxidized chains and stones complimented by antique accents, such as coat of arms charms and vintage charms.

Pregnancy hormones have played a trick on my body hair. It’s really funny. My belly has gotten kinda hairy, lol. Does this serve a purpose? To protect the baby or keep him warm or something? My guy finds it quite amusing. Grrr. On the other hand, hair everywhere else on my body has dimished significantly. My legs have remained smooth for weeks and weeks. I don’t even remember the last time I used my Emjoi epilator. That I am not complaining about, hehe
.
Anyway, speaking of getting rid of pesky body hair in the summer, we know how much work it is! I was browsing Sephora’s site and saw this. Has anybody tried this Silk’n SensEpil™ Silk’n SensEpil? It’s said to be a “a portable, FDA cleared device that offers the visual results of in-office laser hair removal in the convenience and privacy of your own home.” Does that mean it’s permanent like laser hair removal? I’ve always wanted to get laser hair removal on my armpits. I wonder if this device can really achieve that. I’m so curious to try it, but the $499 price tag makes me think twice. There are some really good reviews on Sephora and some not so good ones.
From Sephora’s website:
What it does:
Silk’n SensEpil™ is an over-the-counter innovation that delivers the clinically proven effectiveness of the well-established, market-leading Silk’n™ sold by physicians. This breakthrough product harnesses the power of proprietary Home Pulsed Light™ (HPL™) technology to create a cutting-edge, safe, user-friendly hair-eliminating solution. Look no further if you want a quick, gentle, safe, and affordable way to diminish unwanted body hair. This must-have device and replacement cartridges provide a lifetime of personal treatments at a fraction of the cost of physician office visits.
Each packaged unit comes with:
- Silk’n SensEpil device
- Instructional DVD
- Quick start guide and user’s manual
- Lamp cartridge (with 750 pulses)
- Power cord
What else you need to know:
With just two-to-four self-treatment sessions, most users experience visually diminished hair that is comparable to results produced by professionally administered laser procedures. User satisfaction and clinical results speak for themselves:
- 80% of users experienced a noticeable reduction in hair after 3 months.
- 90% preferred using Silk’n to visiting a spa or salon.
- 90% said they would recommend Silk’n to a friend.
- 90% described Silk’n as convenient, easy, useful, and innovative.
Dechel “earlaces”
Darlings, what do you think of these “earlaces” (earrings and necklaces blended) from Dechel? It’s quite a novel idea. I think they look beautiful but it also kinda makes me nervous about wearing them. What if they snag on something? *Ouch* Would you wear them?
Dechel – Womens Sioux Chain Necklace Earrings (Black/Gold) $53
Dechel – Womens Sioux Chain Necklace Earrings (Gold) $53
Dechel – Womens Sioux Chain Necklace Earrings (Silver) $53
Now I’d be a little more comfortable wearing these earrings. I love that they are so long, 14″!

Jeffrey Campbell MICHELLE
Jeffrey Campbell MICHELLE ($119.95 at Solestruck.com). Jeffrey Campbell makes such beautiful fashion-y shoes! How fabulous is this bootie? The ruffles add such sexy curves to it. And the swirly heel reminds of me of an ice cream cone, lol.

I always regularly check Chocosho‘s updates on their lifestyle items. Invariably they will have such cute things that I covet. Check out these for your desk and office.

What’s a pregnant woman to do on a rainy Sunday with nowhere to go? Browsing the Weeb for new stores of course. And don’t you love it when you can get a whole outfit for around $100?

Trinny & Susannah Shapewear
Trinny & Susannah The Original Magic Knicker® Bum Lifter ($58.99 $47.19) As much as I want to giggle at the picture on the packaging, I have to admit to myself that I will need one of these after my pregnancy ends. I can already see a downward shifting of my bottom
. The Bum Lifter is said to work on the hips and tummy, holding them firmly in place, and lifts your bottom to give a lovely, pert shape. The finish is smooth, with static free fabric, and of course, no VPL. I’m doing more research right now. I can just see myself getting all kinds of shapewear for every part of my body.
TheBalm is a lot of fun

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer
($22). This is one of the cutest pressed powder compact I’ve ever seen! Love the artistic retro feel to it. TheBalm brand is pretty new to me. I was playing around with some of its products and I was really impressed. This pressed powder is really fun. It’s not just a usual powder to set your foundation. It has such a beautiful sheen to it that it can be used as a highlighter, shimmer and eye shadow! It’s really versatile. Sweep it over your eye lids and instantly your eyes look brighter. It’s such a neat trick.

TheBalm BalmShelter SPF 17 Tinted Gloss Daddy’s Girl
($19). A pink lip gloss is a must this summer. This sheer berry pink is absolutely fabulous. And you know how I love a lip gloss with SPF! You gotta have it when you go to the beach.

TheBalm Down Boy
($20). And you gotta have a pink blush that looks like your natural flush this summer. I love that this one goes on super smooth and somehow brightens the cheek without looking shiny. Go ahead and try out their fun products.
