I’m going shopping with some girlfriends today and I’m wearing this oliver green mini-dress I got on ebay recently. It’s got that bit of military-inspired and utilitarian look to it. I’m layering on the necklaces. Is it a faux-pas to mix gold, silver AND pearls?

Peplum

I was sorting my old jackets today and I got a craving for a new spring jacket, something girly. Lo and behold, while browsing Rue La La‘s sales, I saw this Juicy Couture Carbon Peplum Jacket $198 $79 and immediately picked it up. I don’t have anything with a peplum in my closet. Love the ruched shoulders, and the ruffled peplum at the hem is detachable, so if I want to do a less girly outfit, I can take that off and have a crisp cargo-style jacket.

Lately I’m very much into sandals that have pretty embellishments on the ankle. This Marc By Marc Jacobs Charms Sandal in Black is just what I like. The patent leather sandals look simple and comfortable, but the charm bracelets totally jazz things up. And I think they are removable so you can put on other bracelets. How fun!

My new tote

You know how I’ve been saying I need a new tote lately. Well, I just picked up this light pink Juicy Couture Worth It Lock Hobo on Gilt.  The color is warm weather friendly.  Lots of detailing in the front.  I like the size and the braided strap to switch things up a bit.

I know I linked to a Sex and the City trailer before already, but I can’t help but link this longer version. I’ve watched it over and over again. The scene where Carrie runs into Aiden and his eyes burn with desire…Oh My! I’m gonna leave the hubby and the baby at home and go see it with the girlfriends (ha, just like the girls in the movie except they are going to Abu Dhabi). CAN’T WAIT!!!!
