RAW Minerals

I recently received these RAW Minerals makeup from DermStore.com to try.  You bet I was happy to try out another mineral makeup as I am a big fan of mineral makeup.  But not all mineral makeup is created equal.  And RAW Minerals is a cut above the rest.  I tried Active Veil SPF 18 ($25) and Mineral Glow ($25).  Active Veil SPF 18 Promotes a radiantly healthy glow with this antioxidant rich formula. This powder veil is specially made to be worn over mineral foundations. Its sheer color contains shimmering particles that diffuse light as the velvety finish leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth.  But you don’t have to worry about it being too shiny.  The shimmering is very subtle and even suitable for daytime.  This lightweight formula contains an SPF 18 and natural botanicals that promote a more youthful and healthy appearance.

Mineral Glow energizes your skin with this bronzer for a sun-kissed glow. This naturally radiant formula gives your complexion color as it shades the contours of your face. It also helps control oils giving you a shine free matte finish. This formula contains nourishing ingredients that reduce fine lines and wrinkles while increasing elasticity and smoothness. Now that I haven’t heard of any other bronzer that does this.

I also got this Blush/Shaping Brush ($35).  I LOVE this brush.  The hair is so so soft and feels feather-light on the skin.  This brush is specially shaped and designed for applying blush to the cheek bones and highlighting the contours of your face. This brush has a full round head which allows easy application of product to the shape of your face. It was very easy to apply blush with just a few strokes to create the apple cheeks that I so love.
