A UK poll by high street chain Superdrug has found Keira Knightley is Britons’ beauty icon for 2007. I’m sure the movie Atonement has something to do with it. Have all of you seen the movie? Isn’t it just a beautiful picture? Keira Knightley looks divine in it. Don’t you just love the emerald green dress she wore?

From the Press Association: this dress has been voted the best film costume of all time! It even beat out Marilyn Monroe’s white dress in The Seven Year Itch and Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress in Breakfast At Tiffany’s! That’s something.

Tinz TV? I hope it’s true!

Anyone who cares about or follows the society world of NYC knows Tinsley Mortimer is the IT girl on the scene. She gets a lot of flack for being a social climber and appearing in the media non-stop. True or not, I still quite like her style. I love her perfect blond hair, doesn’t she look adorable? I read in The New York Observer that she might get her own TV series. Well, I hope it’s true! She admits that she’s “never done effortless chic well. I do better looking very feminine with everything tucked into its place”, which works for her I think. She sticks to her own style even though some people criticize her.
And I like the look of her Samantha Thavasa bags judging from the party pictures she’s in carrying them. They seem hip, bold, and trendy, which definitely has a place in a girl’s wardrobe. I hope she does do a TV show, I’ll keep my eyes peeled.

Looks like The Hills’ girl Audrina Patridge has finally come to her senses and dumped her douchebag boyfriend ‘Justin Bobby’ and found herself a new man, Tyson Paige (who is he?) He’s hot and he doesn’t have dirty hair like Justin Bobby. Vast improvement, Audrina!

By the way, I can’t wait to see next week’s episode. Lauren and Heidi are finally gong to confront each other! But Star Magazine’s reporting that their feud was staged and now they are all friendly with each other again. Hmm…

Can you work this diet?

Adorable Lily Allen dropped from a size 12 to a svelte eight by following Posh’s diet, herbal tea for breakfast, sushi for lunch and raw vegetable crudites with dried fruit for dinner. I could totally do this diet (except for the raw vegetable. Yuck). When we go to our favorite all-you-can-eat sushi place, I can pound back raw fish like you wouldn’t believe. My friends are always amazed at where I put all that food. They think one of these days I’m going to put the place out of business. It doesn’t help me lose any weight though, so don’t do what I do if you are a sushi fan.

Can’t wait for the movie!

I cannot wait for the Sex and The City movie to come out! I don’t care about the story, I just want to see the fashion. The ladies look fab in their vintage inspired dresses. Too bad Samantha isn’t in the shot. SJP’s little orange clutch is so cute. And how gorgeous is her green dress and jacket ensemble?

The cast of Desperate Housewives have unveiled a red hot new look to promote the show’s fourth season. They got airbrushed the hell out of. I can’t say I’m excited about the new season. I almost gave it up last season but I stuck it out. I will most likely keep watching it. I’m skeptical nevertheless.

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know I was a big fan of the show. Even though ABC hasn’t made the official announcement about who will be competing in the next season, the official list of contestants have been leaked onto the Internet. The athletes and pop stars will fare the best I’m sure. I’m very curious to see how Gisele dances. It seems that being able to strut down the runway oozing sex appeal doesn’t necessarily translate into good dancing skills. Who are you rooting for? I know I do Not want to see Tori Spelling win :p

Did you guys all watch the Hills season premiere this Monday night? I had to miss it, but thank God for the Internet, I managed to download episode one and two. It was the show’s highest rated season opener yet, making it the highest rated cable program of the night in the 12-34 demographic. Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag squared off at Los Angeles club Les Deux, with LC calling her former BFF “a sad pathetic person.” Heidi is dumb. And Spencer is just so gross. And what’s up with Audrina’s ex-boyfriend. Weeeeird. Do you love the show as much as I do? It’s funny that for somebody who rarely watches reality TV, I’m totally into this one.

Woah! Is that Donna from that ’70s show?! That buxom blonde whose shoulders were twice as wide as any of the guys on the show? Yep, “That ’70s Show” alum Laura Prepon poses at the ABC All Star Party in California. She looks great, very svelte and feminine. Love her one-shoulder dress. It’s nice to see that she didn’t let herself go after that show. Man, I miss that show.

Nice transformation

Wow, I almost didn’t recognize Mischa Barton in the first picture. She looks much prettier with dark hair. It really brings out her eyes and peaches ‘n cream complexion. And I love the green floral dress on her. If it was just laying there, I’d think it was cut from my grandma’s bedsheet. But it looks fantastic on her. Of course the classic Chanel bag helps, too.

Becks got booed

So apparently fans are not happy that David Beckham hardly played any soccer since he joined the Galaxy last month. Yesterday at the game against Toronto FC, he sat on the bench showing his sockless ankles and a bandage strapped around his injured ankle to the world the reason why he still can’t play. Look at the helpless expression on his face. I still think he looks great in his designer suit :p

How hilarious is that sign?! Canandian fans are so funny. You can’t blame the fans for being annoyed or disappointed though. They did pay loads of money to see him play.

Check out Scarlett Johansson latest advertising campaign for Louis Vuitton. What do you think? Love the rich jewel tone color scheme. Her face looks a bit like of a wax figure in some of the photos. It’s the eyes. She looks like she’s zoned out or something. I’m lusting over those fierce black pumps and the burgendy red coat though!
