Spring makeup

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, darlings. Life’s been pretty crazy what with my baby getting sick, switching jobs, etc, etc. And I’ve found that the fashions in the stores to be a little lackluster. I’m hoping the better stuff just hasn’t arrived yet. I’ve been watching some Youtube makeup tutorials, I think what I need is some new spring makeup. That’ll lift my mood.

I’m seeing a lot of tangerine-themed lips in mags. I think this is a great trend for spring and it’s a very flattering color group for my skin tone. I find any lip color that has a bit of coral/orange really brightens my face. Obviously you can’t go too orange, that’d just look weird.

It felt like I hadn’t tried any new makeup in forever. I walked into Shoppers the other day and I saw some new products from Benefit and I had to try a few.
