Oh so sexy bikinis

With the pending trip to Brazil, I’m obsessed with uber sexy bikinis. It’s probably a time for me to go a little bit out of my comfort zone (no thong bikini for me, although it doesn’t mean that I don’t fantasize about frolicking in one on the beach, lol.).

I absolutely love the sexy swimwear from ViX, designed by Paula Hermanny, who grew up in the small beach town of Vitoria in Brazil. Obviously designing bikinis is in her blood. I love the print and details like the wooden bead loops and the metallic chains on the straps. Only if the smokin’ hot body came with the suit. *sigh*

Ruffles galore

Wearing my new Pleated Romper Dress today. What can I say, I can’t get enough of the ruffles. It was the pleated ruffles that drew me in. Timesonline.co.uk wants to remind us ruffle-lovers — Frill seekers: proceed with caution - Wear ruffles judiciously, or you risk looking like an extra in Carmen. It says to use tough accessories such as gladiator sandals to harden the look. It’s good advice but doesn’t mean I’m going to be less ruffle-obsessed, which extends to bikinis too! Why do stores like to taunt us so much? This is the bleakest time of the year, stores have already offered up new swimsuits for us to look at and weep. I can’t help but wanting to try some on. Brette Sandler bikinis are amazing. Something about the designs is just so sexy, but not slutty sexy. It’s not like they are especially more revealing than your regular ol’ bikinis. As revealing as bikinis can be, they are actually not bad. Perhaps it’s the sultry colors and the details like little rings, peep holes, constrasting panels, and ruchings that render the suites so unique and extremely sexy. Honestly, these are the best bikinis I’ve seen in a long time.

So how many bikinis/swimsuits do you own? I’m really interested in knowing that. It seems people have various opinions on that. Some say really you need a good one to carry you through the whole summer. Me…funny for someone who doesn’t even know how to swim *feels ashamed*, I own a dozen. I don’t even wear them all. I’ll be lucky to wear the new ones I bought this year once. They aren’t practical buys for me. And I guess the geography really matters. You lucky ones that live close to a beach probably shop for bikinis all the time. Anyway, I think it’s one of those things that you can get even when you don’t need it, you get them just ’cause they are too cute or sexy to pass up, and especially at the end of the season when they go on sale. The feeling of wearing a new bikini and knowing you look hot in is well worth it

Bella Beachwear has some ultra sexy Brillian bikinis. Most of them are surpringly “wear-able”, the cuts and colors are quite classic (just don’t be put off by the big fake boobs). I imagine they stay in your bikini for many years to come.
